Background:
The Office, in collaboration with the ICEP (an independent, non-profit, Austrian development organization based in Vienna) and the KFCSED (Kazakhstan Foundation for Cultural, Social and Educational Development), is planning to organize a series of workshops in a pilot region of Kazakhstan, specifically in Almaty and Almaty Oblast. This initiative will be cross-dimensional, carried out in partnership with the Officeโ€™s Human Dimension, ensuring a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach.
The workshops are aimed at building practical skills, enhancing employability, and promoting entrepreneurship among women, particularly mothers with multiple children and victims of domestic violence. This initiative is particularly aimed at empowering women who are particularly mothers with multiple children and women who have experienced gender-based violence, by improving their access to economic opportunities.

Objective of Assignment:
The Office will require the services of a national co-ordinator to ensure the effective and timely implementation of activities related to women's economic empowerment programme.

Duration of Assignment:
The co-ordinator will be hired for 4 months.

Tasks, Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Under the overall supervision of the Senior Economic and Environmental Officer, the successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties:
1. Co-ordinate planning and execution of the training program across four groups.
Output to be achieved: Co-ordination and successful implementation of 80 training sessions and 80 hours of individual consultations across all groups.

2. Liaise with all experts, trainers, and logistical teams.
Output to be achieved: Constant co-ordination meetings held with experts, trainers, and logistical teams, and one updated stakeholder contact list submitted.

3. Select and motivate participants to keep them engaged until the end.
Output to be achieved: 60 participants officially enrolled, with signed participation agreements and safeguarding policies.

4. Ensure timely delivery of sessions and consultations; track participant attendance.
Output to be achieved: Attendance database regularly updated; consultation records maintained. At least 80% of participants (48 individuals) completed the course with minimum 80% attendance (at least 16 sessions). Photo documentation of each session.

5. Monitor individual progress on personal initiatives between modules; provide support and motivation.
Output to be achieved: Weekly progress records submitted by at least 48 participants (80%), including final photos of their initiatives and one external feedback per participant from a community member.

6. Prepare monthly reports and final summary of results.
Output to be achieved: Four monthly progress report and one comprehensive final report (min. 10 pages) including key performance indicators (KPIs) on attendance, satisfaction levels, and project outputs.

Necessary Qualifications:

- Recognized University degree in management, economics, business, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in project management, preferably within the fields of education, NGOs, or social initiatives;
- Proven ability in planning, co-ordinating, and monitoring multi-stakeholder projects;
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse participants effectively;
- Demonstrated capacity to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks with minimal supervision;
- Fluency in Kazakh and Russian; proficiency in English is a strong advantage;
- High level of responsibility, flexibility, and attention to detail;
- Experience in developing and managing educational programs or training content is considered an advantage.

Remuneration Package:

Remuneration will be based on the selected consultant's/expert's qualifications, experience, the tasks and deliverables for this position and in accordance with the OSCE established rates.
