The EIB, the European Union's bank, is seeking to recruit, for its newly created Centre of Excellence, a (Senior) Security Architect (Cloud) โ Poland *. The role will be part of Group Corporate Services Directorate โ Group Digital Office (GCS-GDO) - Enterprise Architecture Unit (EA) located in the EIB External Office in Warsaw.
This is a full-time temporary position at grade 5/6 in Warsaw, Poland. The term of this contract will be 4 years.

Operating Network
You will report directly to the Head of the Enterprise Architecture Unit. You will work in close collaboration with variety of IT teams, establishing trustful relationships. As you will be based in Warsaw some business travel to the EIB Headquarters is foreseen to meet with the larger team & in-house clients based in Luxembourg. Accountabilities
Formulate and execute tailored cloud security strategies and policies that align with business imperatives and our cloud security and enterprise architecture standards Design cloud reference architectures safeguarding cloud-hosted data and applications against unauthorized access, breaches, and other potential threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of informationSupport regular security evaluations and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and developing potent countermeasures to strengthen our cyber defences, address security policies for cloud services and applications Nurture robust partnerships with architects, engineers, IT security specialists, Identity Access Management, and ICT compliance teams to integrate security solutions and controls within all IT systems and cloud platforms, satisfying business needs and regulatory demands Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), offering proactive guidance and establishing principles to aid architects in creating secure and compliant cloud-based solutions & platforms Stay at the cutting edge of cloud security by keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements, trends, and best practices in cloud security technologiesQualifications
University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor) preferably in computer science, information technology or related disciplines At least 5 years of relevant experience in delivering IT security services / architecture Solid understanding of diverse cloud computing technologies, encompassing Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) Experience with cloud security platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, showcasing proficiency in safeguarding cloud-based environments Demonstrated experience in devising and implementing custom cloud security strategies Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving acumen, facilitating the identification and resolution of complex cloud security challenges Comprehensive knowledge of fortifying cloud-hosted data and applications against a spectrum of threats Proven experience in conducting thorough security evaluations and developing appropriate remediation plans Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CCA or security certifications of AWS and Azure will be considered a plus Excellent knowledge of English and/or French (*), with a good knowledge of the other. (*) Unless stated explicitly as a required qualification, a good command of French is not a pre-requisite for hire. As both English and French are however official working languages of the EIB, proficiency in both languages is a pre-requisite for your future career development. Any language clause in your contract must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible for a promotion (either via the annual appraisal cycle or via an internal selection process). Proficiency is understood to mean the attainment of level 5 of the Inter Institutional language courses, corresponding to B1.2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL).
