Introduction

Country: Bangladesh

Description of the Assignment: UNDP Bangladesh has several regional and global programmes focusing on climate change adaptation and mitigation, integrated and area-based programme, gender equality and fiscal policies, climate and innovative finance, Insurance, climate finance governance etc.


The objective of this assignment is to produce video documentaries and capture photos on how UNDP strengthen their work in the areas of climate and disaster risk finance. These documentaries and photos will also portray how climate change is affecting lives and livelihoods of the people and how risk finance is taking place by the local people with the development programmes of the UNDP. The photos and videos will also capture the interviews and interactions with key stakeholders including development partners, government representatives, parliamentarians, local political leaders and private sectors. Each video documentary will be short and specific. Each photo story will be succinct and context specific. Both video documentaries and photo stories will be guided by the relevant teams of the UNDP.


Period of assignment/services: 120 Working Days on intermittent basis and spread over 10 months
