Your Role
As our new part-time IT Support Assistant, you will have the great opportunity to put your knowledge and skills into practice, working closely alongside a team of four other IT team members. From providing in-person support at the office to assisting our global community remotely, youโll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth IT operations.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Providing first-line support to ICES users, including in-house meeting participants
Performing regular โhealth checksโ on storage, anti-virus, backup, and network as well as physical meeting room hardware
Monitoring helpdesk tasks (via Topdesk ticket system) and by email/in-person
Configuring and verifying hardware arrangement as required
User onboarding and offboarding using defined processes in Github

Qualifications
Weโre seeking candidates currently studying master in an IT or business informatics discipline. You need a minimum of 3 years of education in an IT-related or High school diploma in IT or technical engineering field.
For this role, you should additionally have:
Experience in Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Solution, system installation and configuration or related areas
Very good understanding of PC hardware, ideally also with PC configuration
Fluency in English, both verbal and writing and have great communication skills
Experience with cloud services would be an advantage

โTerms of Appointment
This is a paid student role, and the working hours are 15 hours per week. This position will be established with an initial duration of 6 months, with a starting date as soon as possible (preferably in May).
