Job Purpose:
UNFPA Afghanistan is seeking to engage the services of a graphic design artist who will support the office remotely in developing materials that help promote and disseminate information of key significance to the visibility and advancement of UNFPAโs humanitarian work in Afghanistan in a creative, engaging and strategic way. The materials to be produced will support communication, visibility and resource mobilization purposes.

The consultant is expected develop design and layout for various communication products for UNFPA Afghanistan, applying visually appealing elements such as infographics, photos, illustrations, etc., together with UNFPA branding elements.

Qualifications and Experience:ย
Education:ย ย
Masterโs degree in graphic design, digital media, or other relevant visual arts courses; or Bachelorโs degree with an additional 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of an advanced degree.ย Minimum two years of experience in graphic design with a proven knowledge of graphic layout and design across multiple media channelsย Demonstrated knowledge and skills in using design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) Demonstrated experience in visual messaging and informational graphics A creative mindset and the ability to work well under pressure, completing tasks efficiently, and handling tight deadlinesUNFPA Work Environment:
