The internship in the Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary in Santiago will last 2 to 6 months, depending on the needs of the Office. Candidates may be selected throughout the posting period, on an \"as-needed\" basis. Under the supervision or overall guidance of CEPAL Lab Coordinator The intern will support the team of the laboratory in the implementation of different projects and the activities and initiatives derived from it, particularly those tasks related to the development of strategic knowledge-mapping tools. The intern will report directly to the coordinator designated by the Deputy Executive Secretary. The projects in which the intern will collaborate include: monitoring the implementation of the Knowledge Management Strategy, the support in the activities of the Foresight, Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and the updating of the strategic knowledge-mapping process. Specific tasks include: Documenting the follow-up of the implementation of the Knowledge Management Strategy. Supporting the preparation of meeting minutes and tasks related to the organizational structure of the Laboratory. Assisting in the review, documentation, and testing of data-based knowledge-mapping tools. Maintaining databases up to date. Reviewing and cleaning (when applicable) tool-related code using Python. Supporting testing activities for data capture, preparation, updating, and visualization. Assisting in experimentation with data science and artificial intelligence tools. Qualifications/special skillsApplicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work. experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D.
