Living conditions and remarksWhile the local office and workspace strive to maintain accessibility standards, there are some areas for improvement. Currently, there are no braille signs available to assist visually impaired individuals in navigation. Additionally, restroom facilities do not have grab bars installed. However, the office remains wheelchair accessible, with ramps and elevators provided for mobility support. The workspace is well-lit and free from physical barriers, ensuring ease of movement within the premises. Efforts are underway to address these deficiencies and enhance accessibility for all volunteers, including those with disabilities. UN Youth Volunteer gets the following package: • Volunteer Living Allowance (around 1788.53 TND./Month) • Entry Lump-Sum = USD 400 (one-time payment paid in TND) • Comprehensive coverage for health, life and malicious acts for the UN Volunteer only. • Exit allowance (paid on successful completion of the assignment) TND 186.3 for each month served, paid on completion of contract. • Access to UNV E-Campus for training and learning including access to LinkedIn learning.
