What we are looking for

Candidates with generalist fundraising experience in Norway and experienced in field and face-to face marketing or tele-marketing.ย 

Experience managing and influencing in complex matrix environments, a business mindset, self driven, flexible, highly organizational with great coordination capability.

Previous experience with fundraising tools like webshop, with preferred experience with Jira and Trello software tools.

Strong presentation skills with fluency in Norwegian and English, both written and verbal.

What you will do

The Fundraising Adviser โ€“ Norway market, works on NRCโ€™s unearmarked fundraising by targeting private individuals in the Norway market using multiple channels. Its main function is to support the Norway fundraising team by supplying extra capacity during the project period of TV-aksjonen to ensure that ongoing fundraising activities are followed-up, and targets achieved. It will do this under the direction of the Norway Fundraising lead. It is a general position supporting many NRC individual fundraising activities in Norway.

Key responsibilities

Deliver and contribute to the overall individual fundraising surplus. Contribute to developing and implementing NRCs global private individual fundraising strategy within the section and in collaboration with other internal stakeholders. Understand the full ROI of fundraising investments, advise on current and new investments and work to diversify, and create income resilience with higher and/or faster ROI. Research, interpret and analyse data to make informed decisions on strategies and activities and provide recommendations on the portfolio of markets and channels. Responsible for identifying and informing about fundraising content needs, ensure necessary market and/or channel adaptions are handled, as well as publication in relevant platforms/channels.ย  Develop, maintain and manage fundraising partnerships/ suppliers. Build relevant networks in prioritised fundraising market(s) to identify trends, strengthen resilience and take market specific measures.ย  Responsible for protecting NRC from risk through due diligence, compliance, policies, best practice of relationships with partners and agencies used for fundraising globally. Contribute to development of guidelines, procedures, and routines within fundraising. Support on Private Fundraising sectionโ€™s deliveries to TV-aksjonen as needs arise โ€“ for example project management support, and/or contribute to telethon task forces e.g. on events, mobilisation, or marketing. Support in fundraising Campaigns, for example Christmas campaigns, Neglected List or World Refugee Day campaigns. Responsible as channel manager for delegated projects, and depending on needs for example Field Marketing or Telemarketing and manage delegated platforms or fundraising tools like Webshop.

What you will bring

Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent, ideally in a relevant area like Business Administration, Marketing etc. Experience in fundraising in Norway. Experience in managing and influencing in complex matrix environments. Experienced and comfortable using digital tools e.g. MS office and preferred experience with Jira and Trello software tools. Experience with face-to-face marketing and/or tele-marketing a strong added value. A Business mindset with demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-motivation and independence with a positive attitude, flexible, innovative and effective in working collaboratively as part of a multicultural team Good presentation skills and fluent in Norwegian and English languages, both written and verbal.
