Assist the National Project Officer (Design) by providing administrative, operational and technical support in the preparation, organization and formatting of architectural documentation, including compiling inputs received from design engineers, architects, and implementing partners.
Assist the National Project Officer (Design) inย preparing and organizing project files and documentation, such as drawings, plans, schedules, bills of quantities, reports, and other technical materials, ensuring they follow established templates and filing procedures.
Support the coordination of information flow between the Design Team, implementing partners and relevant authorities by collecting, consolidating, and transmitting required documents, forms, and correspondence.
Support the processing of permits and regulatory documentation by assisting in gathering, organizing, and submitting required paperwork in accordance with established procedures.
Assist in monitoring project documentation progress, tracking submissions, versions, and deadlines, and updating internal trackers and shared repositories.
Provide logistical and operational support for site visits, meetings, and field missions, including coordinating schedules, preparing documentation packages, and supporting follow-up actions.
Support procurement processes by assisting in the preparation of standardized technical inputs, collecting vendor documentation, and organizing materials required for the procurement unit to perform technical evaluations.
Compile routine information for technical reports, including collecting data from project teams, contractors, and internal systems, and preparing initial drafts, summaries, and tables based on established formats.
Maintain accurate and wellโorganized records of technical documentation, correspondence, reports, permits and other relevant materials in line with IOM procedures. Comply with IOMโs policies and procedures including Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) and contribute to the promotion of a respectful work environment.
ย Conduct duty travel to support site assessments and meetings with stakeholders, as required.
ย Perform such other duties as may be assigned.ย
EDUCATION
ย
High school diploma with six years of relevant experience; or
Bachelorโs degree in architecture or a related field from an accredited academic institution with four years of professional experience.ย
Certification as a licensed professional architect would be an asset.
ย
EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated ย experience working with construction project documentation, including drawings, plans, schedules, bills of quantities, reports, and related technical materials.
Experience in planning and implementation of construction or infrastructure-related projects.ย
Experience with design documentation approval processes and state expertise procedures is an advantage.
Experience supporting the implementation of construction or rehabilitation projects.
Good working knowledge of urban planning and architectural documentation.ย
Practical knowledge of local construction techniques and materials.

SKILLS

Proficient use of design-related software such as AutoCAD, Revit and ArchGIS, including file coordination, 3D visualization, and application to schedules, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.ย
Knowledge of planning software such as MS Project.
Familiarity with applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices related to the project.ย
Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc).ย
Ability to work quickly and accurately and pay attention to detail.ย
