EMR Data Migration Specialist

Result of ServiceUNRWA Launched the EMR system implementation to deliver a unified, secure, and patient-centered Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system that enhances the quality, efficiency, and continuity of healthcare services across all UNRWA health centres. To support this project initiative, we seek to recruit an experienced Data Migration Specialist who will be responsible for Profiling, cleansing, Mapping and Migrating data from eHealth system into new EMR system. Work LocationAmman - Jordan Expected durationup to 12 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Consultant will be responsible for Profiling, cleansing and Migrating data from eHealth system into new EMR system. Specific Outputs/Tasks include but not limited to: • Data Assessment & Profiling • Data Cleansing & Standardization • Data Mapping & Transformation • Data Migration Execution • Data Validation & Reconciliation • Testing & Documentation • Go-Live & Post-Migration Support • Coordinate with internal/external teams. • Performs other related duties as required. DELIVERABLES • Inception & Planning • Data Profiling & Assessment • Data Cleansing Rules & Standards • Data Cleansing Execution • Data Mapping & Transformation Design • Test Migration • Final Migration Preparation • Post-Migration Validation • Closure & Knowledge Transfer Qualifications/special skills• A university degree in information technology or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data management/data migration. • Database Expertise, Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, etc.) • Highly experienced in ETL Tools & Scripting Experience with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory) • Proficient in Data Mapping & Transformation Hands-on experience mapping source to target data models, Data cleansing, standardization, and transformation techniques • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. LanguagesLanguages • Fluent in spoken and written English. Additional InformationCONDITIONS OF SERVICE • The selected candidate will be based in UNRWA HQA Amman - Jordan. • The selected candidate will receive a monthly remuneration that is equivalent to the UNRWA salary scale of Grade 15 Step 1 amounting to JD1,080.37 for every fully completed month. • The duration of the Contract is up to 12 months, and the possibility of extension is subject to the availability of funds and continuing need and satisfactory performance. • The selected candidate will report to the Senior Technical Lead.
