AMRO is seeking a dynamic and highly qualified professional to serve asย Deputy Director (Administration), a key Senior Management position reporting directly to the AMRO Director. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for leading and overseeing AMRO's administrative functions, including budget, finance, human resources (HR), legal affairs, information technology (IT), procurement, and general administration, as well as the implementation of TA activities, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Deputy Director (Administration) will report to the AMRO Director and perform the following functions:
Lead and supervise the planning and implementation of AMRO's budget and financial functions (such as ensuring financial prudence, integrity, and accountable management of financial-related issues)Lead the planning, implementation, and supervision of AMRO's HR functions (such as personnel management and development of staff capabilities).Lead and manage AMRO's TA activities.Lead and supervise the planning and implementation of AMRO's legal policies and processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Lead and supervise the planning and implementation of AMRO's IT-related functions.Lead and supervise the planning and implementation of AMRO's procurement policies and processes.Lead and supervise the planning and implementation of AMRO's other administrative functions.Coordinate with other relevant Senior Management to ensure the successful execution of all job responsibilities.Perform other functions as may be determined by the Director in accordance with the AMRO Agreement.ย

The Deputy Director (Administration) will serve a three-year term, with the possibility of a one-time extension for up to three additional years. The ed candidate is expected to join AMRO in September 2025.
