The selected Videographer Consultant will be responsible for producing at least 5 – 6 videos (10 mins and 40-60 second teasers each) as key communication tools to support the upcoming 2025 Global Methane Status Report and related advocacy efforts. Work LocationRemote Expected duration12 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe UNEP-convened Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is a partnership of governments, intergovernmental organizations, and representatives of the private sector, the environmental community, and other members of civil society. The CCAC is the only international initiative working on integrated climate and clean air solutions to reduce the rate of near-term warming. It focuses on fast action to reduce emissions of short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) including methane, black carbon, HFCs and tropospheric ozone. More information about the Global Methane Pledge is here: www.globalmethanepledge.org The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) hosts the Secretariat at the Economy Division in Paris. The CCAC Secretariat is seeking a Videographer to produce videos of 10 mins, and 40-60 second teasers each for the Global Methane Status report. Activities include: - Collaborate with the CCAC Secretariat to develop concepts, scripts, and storyboards. - Film as required, capturing interviews, and relevant footage - Compile photo and video footage relevant to each story. - Work with local and national CCAC partners for relevant footage collection. - Ensure high-quality video and audio recordings. - Edit raw footage into polished videos of 5–10 minutes each. - Include voiceovers, subtitles, animations, and branding elements as needed. - Develop a fully animated video for the executive summary of the report. - Incorporate feedback from the CCAC Secretariat and finalize all deliverables. Qualifications/special skillsA university degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in a related field. A secondary level diploma in combination with five (5) years qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree. - Proven experience in professional videography, including screenplay development, interviewing and filming and editing, and development of a portfolio of diverse digital projects is required. - Experience working with NGOs/UN agencies is desirable - Experience with visual storytelling on climate, clean air or SLCPs is an asset LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
