Information and Technology Solutions (ITS) enables the WBG to achieve its mission of ending extreme poverty and promote shared prosperity in a sustainable way by delivering ground-breaking information and technologies to its staff working in over 150 locations.

ITS shapes its strategy in response to changing business priorities and demonstrates new technologies to achieve three high-level business outcomes: business enablement, by providing Bank Group units with innovative digital tools and technologies to transform how they deliver value for their clients; empowerment & effectiveness, by ensuring that all Bank Group staff are connected, able to find information, and productive to accelerate the delivery of development solutions globally; and resilience, by equipping the Bank Group to provide risk-based cybersecurity and robust data protection for a global network and a growing cloud platform.

The ITS Enterprise Services unit, provides a wide range of technical services: data centers, system administration, database, middleware, cloud, enterprise monitoring and identity and access management.

Role
Infrastructure Windows Server Administrator, responsible for the operation of enterprise Windows Server infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility for this position is listed below:
โข Manage and maintain enterprise Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.โข Deploy Windows servers on-premises and in cloud using the certified images.โข Regular patching of the Windows operating systemsย โข Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directoryย โข Managing NTFS and Share permissions on CIFS Shares.โข Install and monitor various infrastructure tools like CrowdStrike and Splunk.โข Perform Windows OS troubleshooting, configuration, and performance tuning.โข Basic knowledge of Powershell Scripting.โข Maintain awareness of infrastructure security best practices and assist with the PAM (Privileged Access Management) tools to manage server access.โข Managing Windows workloads and related services in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure and OCI)โข Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a SAFe Agile environment to deliver infrastructure services in alignment with business goals.โข Contribute to incidents, problems, and change management processes, including root cause analysis and documentation.โข Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.โข Develop and maintain clear, concise documentation for new and existing procedures to ensure operational consistency and knowledge transfer.โข Contribute to the development and refinement of operational procedures and workflows; participate in continuous improvement initiativesโข Ensure adherence to World Bank Group (WBG) policies, processes, and procedures in all aspects of work.โข Demonstrate ownership and accountability by responding promptly and effectively to client inquiries, requests, and issues; proactively identify and remove roadblocks to successful task execution.โข Participate in teamโs on-call rotation for production support.
Selection Criteria
โข Bachelorโs degree with 7 years or masterโs degree with 5 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.โข Windows Administration experience.โข Deploy and Manage Windows servers across the platforms.โข Managing Active Directory users, groups and group policies.โข Experience with Windows Server Administration on VMWare AWS, OCI and Azure Cloud.โข Collaborates within team and across boundaries.โข Experience in security and compliance with Windows servers and related controls.โข Ability and willingness to work, learn and contribute to internationally diverse team environment.
