UN Women Tรผrkiye collaborates with numerous partners โ central and local level government authorities, civil society organizations, including womenโs organizations and platforms, opinion-makers and activists from different sectors, academia, private sector companies, media, development partners and other UN agencies. It commits itself to the Leaving No One Behind principle, by supporting targeted actions to remove the obstacles that marginalized and vulnerable groups of women face in accessing their rights and to promote them as agents of change.ย
As part of the programmes and in the context of its global Communications and Public Advocacy Strategy, UN Women Tรผrkiye carries out a variety of targeted communications, visibility, publicity, knowledge sharing, and advocacy interventions that aim to advance the implementation of its goals. In this respect, UN Women Tรผrkiye is producing different types of communications and advocacy campaigns as well as knowledge and visibility materials for digital and conventional media platforms.ย
To support this work, UN Women Tรผrkiye seeks to engage a Videography Consultant who will be responsible for developing high-quality, engaging, and inclusive audiovisual content tailored for a variety of platforms and audiences.
Description of Responsibilities /Scope of Work
Under the direct supervision of the Communications Analyst and in close coordination with the wider Communications Team, the Videography Consultant will:
Film, produce, and edit professional-quality video materialsโincluding interviews, field footage, testimonials, and event coverageโthat align with UN Womenโs brand identity and communications goals. Develop visual storylines and script concepts for specific assignments, ensuring that the final video products clearly convey key messages and contribute to the strategic objectives of UN Women Tรผrkiye. Create dynamic vertical videos, reels, and short-form content optimized for social media platforms, using storytelling techniques tailored for online engagement. Produce animated or motion graphics videos where needed, applying relevant techniques to visually explain complex concepts in a way that is accessible to broad audiences. Manage all aspects of video production logistics, including scouting shooting locations, securing permits if necessary, setting up lighting and sound, and coordinating with on-site staff. Edit and finalize all audiovisual materials, incorporating subtitles in Turkish and/or English, voiceovers, music, sound effects, and transitions where appropriate, to ensure a polished and professional result. Ensure that all video content is delivered in multiple formats suitable for distribution across online platforms, events, and internal presentations. Archive all raw and edited footage, project files, and final outputs in an organized manner, in line with UN Women Tรผrkiyeโs digital asset management protocols. Ensure that all content reflects the organizationโs gender-sensitive and inclusive communication principles, portraying individuals and communities with respect and dignity. Be available on short notice to respond to urgent video assignments and deadlines, particularly in the context of international campaigns or flagship UN days.Payments shall be made upon request, based on the provision timesheets and supporting deliverables approved by the UN Women Communications Analyst, who shall confirm Consultantsโ tasks are completed and eligible for payment.
Consultantโs Workplace and Official Travel
This is a home-based consultancy. However, travel within Tรผrkiye may be required for field assignments, event coverage, or interviews.ย If there will be any need to travel outside of consultantโs city of residence, UN Women Tรผrkiye CO will organize the travel of the consultant and cover the expenses in line with the UN Womenโs travel rules and policies.
Mandatory Training Courses
The Consultants shall complete all the mandatory and other required UN training courses and modules on time. The certificates shall be submitted to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications
Education and Certification:
Advanced (Masters) degree or certification inย video production, animation, or a related specialty is required A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experienceย may be acceptedย in lieu of the advanced degree.Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in videography, video editing, or multimedia production is required. At least 2 years of experience producing content for international organizations, development agencies, NGOs, or media outlets, with a focus on social impact, gender equality, or human rights is desirable Demonstrated proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition), motion graphics creation, and basic animation techniques is required. A portfolio showcasing previous work in video storytelling, campaign videos, interviews, or documentaries is required. (Candidates should submit their portfolios when applying) Experience with filming in various locations (urban, rural, institutional settings), managing video shoots independently, and interacting with diverse stakeholders is desirable.Languages:
