Terms of reference โ€“ Temporary Worker MEAL

Function (Title): temporary worker. (Enumerator)

Duty Station: Tripoli Office

DRC Supervisor: MEAL Officer, Enas Engab.

Task Duration: 6 months.

Scope of Work

The temporary worker supports the monitoring and evaluation team to carry out remote data collection and assessment activities which may be required for the programme reporting. The temporary worker contract will be on a need-for-work basis and is not a full-time role. Under the supervision of the monitoring and evaluation officer, the temporary worker will be responsible for administering questionnaires to people of concern in the project locations within Libya.

Tasks and responsibilities

Data collection

ยท S/he will support the MEAL team in data collection. The worker will conduct data

ยท collection via phone call, PDMs, Verification, and upload data onto relevant information management platforms.

Data review and uploads

ยท Updating relevant tools and trackers for data collection

ยท Uploading data onto Activity info platform

ยท Modify and edit any inaccuracies in data collection.

Experience and technical competencies

Experience in working with Non-Governmental Organizations Familiarity with PDM conduction. Very good interpersonal and team skills. Commitment to humanitarian principles and values.

The contract is based on a โ€œneed for workโ€ basis and remuneration will be paid based on the tasks carried and daysโ€™ work. The temporary worker may not work or be reimbursed for days beyond the maximum approved work/travel days without prior written approval. In no case shall the consultant be reimbursed for more than eight (7.4) hours during an approved work/travel day and may not be paid for work on Fridays and Saturdays unless agreed in advance.
