Temporary Computing Service Operations Lead

EUMETSAT is entering an exciting and challenging phase, with multiple satellite launches scheduled over the coming years, alongside a major transformation programme to refresh and modernise its technology landscape.

The Computing Service is a key function within the IT Infrastructure and Data Division, supporting the ground segment in processing satellite data and commanding the satellites. This infrastructure is evolving to accommodate a new fleet of satellites planned for launch in the near future.

To ensure the smooth operation of the computing infrastructure supporting multiple satellite programmes, we are seeking a Computing Service Operations Lead. This role will focus on managing the resolution of anomalies in coordination with experts, and overseeing team capacity and resource allocation to ensure service continuity and responsiveness to evolving priorities.

N.B. This is not a staff role. The successful candidate will be engaged through an external temp agency for the duration of the temporary contract. This role will not lead to a permanent position.
