ResponsibilitiesUnder the direct supervision of Chief of the Identification Unit, the incumbent: โข Provides support in queue management for delegates and visitors; this is a task to be performed outside of the premises; โข Processes individual identification badges by verifying personal data as indicated on national passport/identification card, inputting data into ID database, querying list of delegations to confirm their participation in the conference/meeting and, printing the badges. โข Receives phone calls and visitors and refers them to the appropriate source or reply personally, to queries when possible. โข Sorts and distributes or processes mail and other documents. โข Uses basic keyboard and word processing skills to prepare forms and short documents (e.g. electronic mail, etc.). โข Photocopies a variety of documents and other materials. โข Delivers urgent mail/messages. โข Maintains unit files (paper and electronic). โข Operates a variety of office equipment in the performance of basic office functions, e.g. photocopier, facsimile, printer, scanner, etc. โข Responds to general queries and/or refers queries to the Supervisor. โข Performs other duties as assigned.
