Title: Teaching Assistant for Evidence-Based Global Health Delivery (EBGHD) Reports to: Director, Institute of Global Health Program: Master of Science in Global Health Delivery (MGHD) Location: Remote Job Type: Part-time Duration: August 2025 โ€“ January 2026 Position Overview The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) is recruiting a part-time Teaching Assistant (TA) to support the Evidence-Based Global Health Delivery (EBGHD) course offered to MGHD students from August 2025 to January 2026. Working roughly ten hours per week, the TA will grade assessments, maintain the Canvas site, and help craft learning resources that teach students how to locate, appraise, and apply the best available evidence to real-world global-health challenges. Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with course instructors and the course coordinator to facilitate weekly learning activities.
    • Grade student assignments, quizzes, and exams, offering timely, constructive feedback.
      • Organize, draft, and refine instructional materials and assessment guidelines.
        • Respond promptly and professionally to student and administrative queries during the course period.
          • Uphold UGHEโ€™s Code of Conduct and Honor Code, fostering a respectful, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment. Experience and Qualifications
            • Masterโ€™s degree in Global Health Delivery (MGHD), Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or a closely related field emphasizing evidence-based practice.
              • Graduate-level training in study design, critical appraisal, or implementation research.
                • Previous experience as a teaching assistant or instructor in courses that incorporate active learning strategies.
                  • Excellent academic writing, editing, and communication skills.
                    • Reliability and flexibility, with availability of roughly ten hours per week across different time zones.
                      • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse faculty, staff, and students.
