ContextUNFPA Iraq is seeking a skilled online volunteer to support its communications efforts by designing and writing engaging social media content for key upcoming events and initiatives. These include International Nurses Day, International Midwives Day, KOICA-funded activities, and general UNFPA Iraq programs. This support will help raise awareness of UNFPAโs work, honor healthcare professionals, highlight key partnerships, and enhance overall audience engagement across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. By joining this assignment, the volunteer will contribute to advancing reproductive health, gender equality, and youth empowerment in Iraq.
Task DescriptionUnder the supervision of UNFPA Iraqโs Communications team, the Online Volunteer will: Design social media posts for International Nurses Day (text + visuals) Design social media posts for International Midwives Day (text + visuals) Create social media content highlighting KOICA-supported activities (posts and visuals) Develop general social media content showcasing UNFPA Iraqโs work Final Deliverables 8โ10 social media posts (including graphics and captions) covering the above themes Editable source files for all designs (e.g., PSD, AI, Canva links) Suggested posting schedule (optional but appreciated) Ensure that all materials follow UNFPA brand guidelines and are adapted for different platforms, Incorporate best practices for engagement and clear, culturally sensitive messaging
