Job Description

The Executive Directorate (EXD) is the steward of OECD resources, on behalf of the Secretary-General. Our focus is on people and their wellbeing; the effective and efficient management of the budget; the safety and security of staff, Delegations, visitors, and of the OECDโ€™s data; maintaining and sustaining physical and digital infrastructure; and enabling the convening power of the OECD through conferences, meetings and events, whether virtual, physical or hybrid. As well as providing corporate services, functions and management support to our staff and Members, we provide integrated, strategic and expert advice on corporate policies and management issues to the Secretary-General, to Council and to Standing Committees, to which we regularly report on corporate matters. We also provide compliance and risk management functions (for management areas under our purview). Within the Executive Directorate, working closely with business partners, the Digital, Knowledge and Information Service (EXD/DKI) designs and provides secure digital solutions, IT and information management services and the technologies to deliver efficient corporate services, meet business partnersโ€™ needs and to support and enhance the OECDโ€™s global role in building knowledge, communicating with the world and interacting with governments to inform and influence policy-making.

The Digital Products and Innovation (DPI) is dedicated to support OECD corporate applications, digital transformation, operational efficiency, and innovation by developing, maintaining, and optimizing digital platforms, enterprise solutions, and data ecosystems.

EXD/DKIโ€™s Digital Products and Innovation division is seeking two SAP Functional Analysts, one specialising in SAP finance modules, the other in SAP Human Resources modules.

In this role, your main objective will be to participate in systems analysis, design and support of SAP applications used in either the financial or human resources areas. You will report to the respective SAP Functional Architectโ€” either Financial or Human Resourcesโ€” under the general supervision of the acting Head of ERP Core Components unit.

Main Responsibilities

Systems Analysis, Design and Support:

Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP financial/HCM solutions.

Configure and customize modules โ€”SAP FI/CO or SAP HCMโ€” to align with business processes.

Provide level 2 support for SAP systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in close coordination with level 1 support teams and business experts.

Resolve complex issues, analysing the root causes, implementing innovative solutions, and developing preventive measures to avoid future issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP modules with other business systems (other SAP modules, SAP Concur, in-house solution,โ€ฆ).

Participate in the migration of existing SAP application to new platforms (SAP S/4HANA), and other financial or HR transformation projects.

Operations and Co-Ordination

Draft technical documentation and keep it up-to-date.

Stay updated with the latest SAP financial trends and technologies(e.g. AI-enabled technologies).

Apply new techniques and trends, in-line with the overall objectives and risk tolerance of the OECD.

Fulfil other role-specfic tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams or partners, as required.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate Profile

Academic Background

An advanced university degree in engineering, IT systems, Finance, Accounting, Human resources and/or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Professional Background

At least three yearsโ€™ of experience in SAP โ€” Finance or Human Resourcesโ€” as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role.

For SAP Financial Functional Analyst, in-depth knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules.

For SAP HCM Functional Analyst, in-depth knowledge of SAP HCM PA/OM/PT/PY modules.

Proven experience of implementing projects and optimising processes in a complex and high-pressure environment, preferably in the finance and/or HR domains.

Experience in analysing complex information, identifying problems and risks, assessing relative priorities and in proposing alternatives to increase efficiency and enhance customer experience.

Experience in project management and/or change management.

SAP Financial Functional Analyst

Very good knowledge and demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following SAP modules is required: FI/CO/PS/FM

Knowledge in SAP GM and SRM modules would be an asset

Knowledge of accounting and budget accounting

Fundamental knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging

SAP HCM Functional Analyst

Very good knowledge and demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following SAP HCM modules is required: PA/OM/PY/PT

Knowledge of French payroll or Knowledge in negative time management would be an asset

Fundamental knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging

Languages

Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) and knowledge of the other, with a commitment to reach a good working level.

Knowledge of other languages would be an asset.

Core Competencies
