DUTIES: Field Research Support
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย \ufeff\ufeffAssist in implementing research protocols and surveys.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Conduct field visits for data collection, farmer interviews, and sample gathering.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Support livestock trials and demonstrations.
Data Management
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย \ufeff\ufeffEnter and clean data using appropriate software (e.g. Excel, Kobo Toolbox, SPSS).
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Maintain accurate records of field activities and observations.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Assist in basic data analysis and reporting.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Develop and manage databases for research and operational data.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Ensure data quality through validation, cleaning, and standardization processes.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Support data collection protocols and tools for field and lab activities.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Provide technical support for data analysis and visualization.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Maintain data security and confidentiality in line with ILRI policies.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Train staff and partners on data management best practices and survey.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Contribute to publications and presentations through data support.
Logistical Support
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย \ufeff\ufeff Assist in organizing logistics, including transport and materials.
\u2022ย ย ย ย ย Support procurement and inventory of field supplies.
\u00d8ย Perform any other job-related tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
HND/BSC in Agricultural Extension, Business Administration or any other related course of study. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment.
