Position description:
The Research Assistant will report to the Senior Research Officer. He/She is expected to contribute to public health under the guidance of the PI. Major responsibilities will include:
Collect qualitative data using methods like as in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, key informant interviews, or any other applicable methods; Transcribe the collected qualitative data; Conduct coding of the transcribed data by using NVivo/ATLAS.ti; Good knowledge and experience of qualitative analysis; Write summary report; Conduct literature review; Support in manuscript writing. Required qualification and experience:
Bachelor degree from a renowned University, preferably in Anthropology/ Sociology with good academic records; At least 1year experience in data collection, data analysis (qualitative data analysis by using NVivo/ATLAS.ti and interpretation). Location: Mohakhali Campus, DhakaNumber of Position: 01
Contract Type and Duration: Contractual service agreement (CSA) basis for 3 months with a possibility of extension subject o availability of fund and performance. Salary & benefits: Tk.39,544/-per month (consolidated) inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances; Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b and subsidized canteen; Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
