Work LocationHybrid Expected duration2 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe intern is under the direct supervision of one of the Director of UNIC Duties may include but are not limited to: - Assisting in writing and translating articles for the UN Morocco web site (Arabic and French) - Assisting in updating social media accounts- Drafting and editing content including video editing tailored for social media - Assisting the UNIC team with media and social media monitoring and liaising with relevant media. - Assisting in the daily liaison with civil society, academia, NGOs in the relevant countries. - Assisting in preparing the organization of events - Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications/special skillsApplicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher). (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work. experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. For this position, fluency in oral and written English is required. Fluency in Arabic language is required Additional InformationSkills : Ability to draft articles, social media posts, and produce communications materials for social media including video editing /creation. Applicants must have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Ability to draft news articles and/or social media posts in desirable.
