We are looking for a Protection from Violence Officer to support the effective implementation of the Protection from Violence project. The Officer will help identify improvement areas, ensure support reaches those most in need, promote the rights of affected populations, and apply Safe and Inclusive Programming standards in all activities.

Carry out Civilian Self-Protection in line with NRC Civilian Self-Protection guidelines and tools, including conducting assessments, facilitating the core CSP training, following-up on community action plans in a timely manner. This includes provide psychosocial support and referrals as needed.Report internally to the Protection from Violence Coordinator on weekly and monthly achievements and challenges.Maintain Civilian Self-Protection files with accuracy and confidentiality, including regularly updating community database.Prepare procurement or payment requests for material assistance in-line with community action plans and ensure project documents are collected and saved offline and online using Office 365, OneDrive and SharePoint in line with project agreements.Participate in mapping exercises and assessments aimed at identifying the locations and needs of vulnerable populations in West Bank with a focus on Hebron and the surrounding neighbourhoods, by using participatory data collection tools and methodologies.Identify barriers to access services, document and report on them.ย
The following skills, knowledge, and experience are key for successful performance in this role:
Generic Professional Competencies:
At least two years of professional experience in the humanitarian sector with international organizations.At least two years' experience implementing protection programming (preferably in humanitarian setting), working in research, working in journalism, and/or working in human rights.ย ย Knowledge of human rights and protection,Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills, creativity, and flexibilityAdvanced level of English and Arabic, both written and verbal.Context/ Specific Skills, Knowledge And Experience:
