Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the National Project Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting countrywide institutional coordination, particularly in the context of the Enhancing protection, regularization and socio-economic integration of migrants and refugees from Venezuela and other relevant nationalities in the Latin America region Project. In addition, the candidate will also design, support and monitoring activities implemented by IOM, in relation to the social and economic integration of assisted migrants and refugees at Rondรดnia State.
1. Assist in the timely and effective implementation of field activities.
2. Observe and respect IOM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to documentation, integration and protection.
3. Identify and respond appropriately to protection needs through referral of cases to the appropriate government institutions following IOM guidelines and SOPs.
4. Maintain up-to-date electronic databases and records and keep detailed notes for all activities.
5. Provide administrative support in the implementation of participatory approaches, needs assessments, monitoring, reporting with a specific focus on people with specific needs.
6. Facilitate liaison with competent authorities for issuance of personal documents and other relevant documents;
7. Support the development of a mapping of referral services. Collect service access information and provide regular updates on changes in available services;
8. Provide training and follow-up on orientation and assistance to migrant populations to partners and service providers; 9. Support the monitoring and reporting processes on documentation, integration and protection activities and prepare regular reports on activities following IOMโs data protection principles;
10. Carry out documentary procedures for obtaining/renewing residency in Brazil, in conjunction with the Brazilian authorities;
11. Provide support on behalf of IOM, independently or with other UN agencies and other organizations, in local missions, project implementation and integrated activities, when necessary;
12. Conduct information sessions on IOM activities for different audiences, whenever necessary;
13. Provide support to other colleagues in field activities, whenever requested by the coordination.ย

Education
- High School diploma with three (03) years of professional experience.
- University Degree in the areas of Social Sciences, Law, Public Policy, Human Rights, Population Studies, Intercultural Studies, International Relations or related areas, in Brazil or abroad with one (02) years of professional experience.

- Experience working within a team of colleagues from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds.
- Previous experience about international migrations and migration regularization procedures are differentials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (word, excel, power point, outlook) Skills
- Good organization, time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
