ย Context ย IOM is working with the Presidency of Migration Management (PMM) to strengthen services under offered to beneficiaries of Assisted Voluntary Return & Reintegration (AVRR) under the Assisted Voluntary & Return Program.
IOM therefore aims to support in the communication and referrals of AVRR beneficiaries throughout Tรผrkiye, as well as strengthening referral and coordination protocols between all relevant stakeholders and enhancing monitoring and evaluation of assistance provided. Such assistance will cover all IOM eligible AVRR beneficiaries regardless of their nationality and/or status, and as such is envisaged to include both โcrisis-affectedโ and โnon-crisis affectedโ beneficiaries. Under the overall supervision of the National Project Officer and the direct supervision of the ย Senior Project Associate, the incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the AVRR activities of the mission.
- Support implementation and monitoring of day-to-day activities and administrative and financial processes of the project(s) under direct coordination of the supervisor that will focus on providing assistance to migrants benefitting from IOM assisted voluntary return programs, inclusive but not limited to: outreach, use of MiMOSA and other tools for case registration and tracking, counselling and services delivery.ย
- Support in the implementation of IOM projects in the Migrant Protection unit, which can include, but is not limited to, tasks ranging from assistance in organizing workshops, meeting and conferences, and liaison with national counterparts.
- Report regularly on referrals of potential and actual AVRR beneficiaries well as the assistance provided, including through the case management process and using necessary forms and documentation in accordance with AVRR SoP and IOM standards for assisting AVRRย beneficiaries.
- Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyse, and present information/data on specific projectย topics.
- Provide regular feedback on the challenges and progress recorded in realization ofย activities, on an as-needed basis, on additional needs/gaps in referral protocols and assistance measures for AVRR beneficiaries. Support the project team in conceptualization and development of new ideas and relevant tools and guidelines to support the effective identification, referral and assistance of AVRR beneficiaries inย Tรผrkiye.
- Liaise with relevant partners including PMM, NGOs, etc. to ensure effective partnerships, resource sharing and flow of information (with full respect for the principle of confidentiality), and effective assistance measures in full accordance with national and internationalย standards
- Participate in relevant trainings/workshops to learn from and contribute to strengthening capacity of relevant partners in identification, referral and assistance of AVRRย beneficiaries.
- Support the evaluation of the effectiveness of assistance provided to AVRR beneficiaries inย Tรผrkiye.
- Contribute to the development of relevant tools and guidelines to support the effective identification, referral and assistance of AVRR beneficiaries inย Tรผrkiye.
- Ensure effective operational coordination and collaboration with different IOM departments and functions such as Procurement, Finance and Movement Operations etc. for the successful AVRR cases implementation.ย

- School diploma with five years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelorโs degree in a relevant field from an accredited academic institution, with three years of relevant professionalย experience;
- Completion of the learning programmes or specific training relevant to functions of the position is an asset.Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.ย Experience
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.

- Experience in the fields of protection, counter-trafficking, child protection, return and reintegration, gender-based violence, and/or humanitarian affairs;

For this position, fluency in Turkish and English is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of Arabic, Spanish, and French is advantageous.
