Under the overall supervision of the Senior Protection Coordinator in Tunis and direct supervision of the Senior Programme Assistant; and, in collaboration with relevant units within the mission
ยท Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities.
ยท Act as focal point for administrative coordination of project implementation, involving extensive liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions, etcโฆ
ยท Contribute to updating and monitoring the project work plan to facilitate timely implementation and achievements of programme activities and results.
ยท Provide support to monitoring efforts for the Mission by applying information collection methods and maintaining adequate documentation and records of project activities, data and reports.
ยท Support with maintaining and updating IOM database in the area of migration and Direct Assistance, through ensuring that all assistance to beneficiaries were recorded on the IOM Migrant Management & Operational System (Mimosa).
ยท Retrieve, compile, summarize, analyse, and present information/data on specific project topics.
ยท Compile and coordinate inputs for information requests from Headquarters, the Regional Office, other IOM missions and external partners, such as donors, government, partner agencies, and implementing partners.
ยท Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelorโs degree from an accredited academic institution in Political or Social Science, Business Administration, International Relations and/ or Law with minimum three years of relevant professional experience, ย or
- High School Degree in the above fields with minimum five years of relevant professional experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Information Management, data collection; support and coordination of information flows, data management including collecting, storing, processing, and analysing data to generate information products.
- Experience with handling confidential data
- Experience in writing and editing information materials and reports are an advantage
SKILLS
- Demonstrated expertise in coordinating teams
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent people and communication skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and partners
- General knowledge of MS (ex. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Team, etc.)
- Digital literacy and demonstrated knowledge of information technology in Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is an advantage
- Knowledge of Power BI, Power builder is an advantage.
