ย Context
In close collaboration with national and local authorities and experienced Partners, in the context of the project 'Helios+: Comprehensive actions for the integration of third-country nationals into the labour market' in the Region of Crete\" with MIS Code 6018664 under the Programme \"Crete 2021โ2027'', IOM aims at promoting the integration of beneficiaries of international protection and temporary protection into the Greek society through activities for employability support, the provision of Greek language courses and vocational training, the support for independent living, including rental subsidies, activities promoting social cohesion and inclusion.
Under the overall supervision of the National Project Officer, the technical advice of the CBI Focal Point and the direct supervision of the Regional Coordinator, the successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in the provision of support and training to project staff regarding rental and vocational training subsidiesโ workflows and controls.ย
- Provide technical assistance regarding the completion of lease contract agreements between counterparties.ย
- Prepare the required financial documentation related to the payments of rental subsidies to HELIOS beneficiaries.ย
- Support the coordination with IOM Finance Department to ensure compliance with the internal procedures (SOPs) regarding disbursements/credits to beneficiaries.ย
- Suggest potential updates on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on good practice and feedback collected while performing the assigned duties.ย
- Continuously update the related database and ensure the quality of inserted data.ย
- Maintain internal filing system.ย
- Prepare regular reports to senior management.ย
- Produce, collect and conduct quality control of the required means of verification.ย
- Perform any other duty that may be assigned.ย Education
- High School Diploma with minimum three years of working experience; or,ย
- University degree in finance, economics, accounting, management and business administration or any other related field from an accredited academic institution with minimum one years of work experience.ย
- Masterโs degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage.ย Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.ย Experience
- At least one year of relevant previous work experience; ย
