    Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

    The position of Project Analyst is assigned to the Trade and Supply Chain Division (TSCD) within the Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

    You will report to the designated Technical International Staff and Officer.

    Your Role

    As a Project Analyst, you will support the Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program's (TSCFP) middle and back office operations. You will also collaborate with different departments within ADB.

    You will:

  • Process trade and supply chain transactions, including guarantee issuances, loan disbursements, risk participation, and risk transfer transactions.
Draft related outgoing SWIFT messages related to guarantee issuances, amendments, payments, and cancellations. For each transaction, confirm that external and internal sanctions screening, as well as checking against ADB's Excluded Goods and Commodities List, were adequately performed. Verify that limits are reconciled in the TSCFP system and in excel spreadsheets, and that no limits are breached for each guarantee issuance or loan disbursement processed. Ensure completeness of documentation, accuracy of information in the TSCFP system, and that relevant approvals have been secured for each transaction. Coordinate closely with various departments, including Controller's, Treasury, and IT, for transaction-related issues to ensure internal cutoff times are met, and guarantees and loans are delivered as committed to clients. Perform user acceptance testing of various system enhancements, integration requirements, and/or system replacement related to transaction processing. Contribute to the automation projects and provide operational expertise on different system enhancements related to portfolio management, including defining business and integration requirements and user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

You will need:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, or related fields. At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the area of trade and supply chain finance. Hands on experience in trade and supply chain finance. Proficient in Microsoft applications. Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.
