Project Context and Scope

As part of the projects titled โ€œPublic Service Infrastructure Development and Livelihood Support inย Yemenโ€ and โ€œThe Project for Supporting Vocational Training for Youth including Internally Displaced Personsโ€, IOM will promote sustainable, gender-inclusive livelihoods through providing individual livelihood support in the form of business development services (BDS) training to conflict-affected populations, prioritising women-led businesses.ย 

ย 

Through the BDS training, participants will gain the necessary skills to launch and manage successful small businesses, increasing their financial independence and literacy, ultimately contributing to household income and individual income-generating capacities. The training will also enhance participantsโ€™ confidence in navigating business challenges, strengthening their ability to compete in the local market and improving their long-term economic stability and self-reliance.

As such, the IOM Yemen Mission seeks the services of an experienced and qualified specialist who can provide sound expert technical BDS training on an individual and group level, based on the needs

Tasks to be performed under this contractย
