The Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD) is the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) global organization mandated to leverage the role of the private sector in development. The ICPSD was established in Istanbul, Tรผrkiye based on the Partnership Framework Agreement signed between the Government of the Republic of Tรผrkiye and the United Nations Development Program in March 2011. The center is one of the six global thematic policy centers of UNDP, supports the private sector and foundations to become transformative partners in development through research, advocacy, facilitation of public-private dialogue and brokering partnerships. ICPSD leads UNDPโs global work on private sector and foundations and supports UNDPโs offices all around the world.ย ย
The ICPSDย SDG AI Labย is a joint initiative of UNDP BPPS (Bureau for Policy and Programme Support) team, and it is hosted under UNDP ICPSD. The SDG AI Lab provides research, development, and advisory support through innovative digital solutions in harnessing the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for sustainable development. The Lab aims to strengthen the UNDPโs internal and its partnersโ capacities for the increasing demand for digital transformation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Under the guidance of and reporting directly to the Technical Specialist, the Programme Analystย will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following key functions:ย
Research activities
- Conduct research and support preparation of high-quality policy and programme guidance material for fields such as innovative financing mechanisms, impact investing ecosystem and inclusive business models.
Partnerships and Outreach support
Analyze and research information on donors, prepare briefs and concept notes on possible areas of cooperation, identify opportunities for initiation of new projects. Create linkages with stakeholders for enhancing the impact of advocacy activities. Support communication, advocacy, and outreach activities for their implementation in line with the respective guidelines of UNDP.Administrative supportย
Assist with procurement of goods and services as needed. Conduct market research and gather quotations for basic goods and services. Prepare payment documents for LTA, vendors, and consultants. Perform activities in compliance with UN/UNDP rules and policies.Facilitate knowledge building and management
Provide sound contributions to knowledge networks, communities of practice, and digital knowledge platforms.ย Organize training for projects staff on programme related matters in assigned programme areas.The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization.
ย Institutional Arrangement
The Programme Analyst will work under the direct supervision of the ICPSDย Technical Specialistย and will be in close collaboration with the other ICPSD and Project Management Support Team members.ย

Education:
