Title: Consultancy on rapid baseline assessment of mercury in soil, air, water, biomaterial and sediment in Small

and Medium Scale Gold Mining Areas

Location: Georgetown, Guyana


Estimated start date: November 2025


Duration: six (6) months



The objective of this consultancy is to conduct a rapid environmental assessment of mercury contamination in soil, water, and sediment in areas impacted by small and medium-scale gold mining (SMGM), and to distinguish between naturally occurring and anthropogenic mercury using isotopic analysis.

Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
