In doing so, the internโ€™s knowledge is supplemented through a practical learning experience while IUCN derives some level of advantage from the young professionalโ€™s services as well as the possibility of gaining new perspectives from the intern.

LEARNING OPPERTINITES:

The Programme Intern will have the opportunity to develop key skills in administrative tasks, such as document management and procurement, as well as gain hands-on experience in finance, budgeting, and reporting. He/she will assist in program and project management, including event planning and field activities, while improving communication skills through report writing, public speaking, and social media. The role offers exposure to cross-cultural teamwork, insight into organizational structure and leadership, and understanding of IUCN's compliance and delegation of authority procedures, providing a well-rounded experience for professional growth.

JOB DESCRIPTION The Programme Intern will support the Country Office Admin, Finance and Programme/Projects, among other tasks required by the Country Office.

The positionโ€™s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

SPECIFIC DUTIES

1. Admin and logistics.
โ€ข Support the Office and Programme Secretary on daily admin and logistic tasks.
โ€ข Document filing.
โ€ข Support registration of office assets.
โ€ข Support procurement.
โ€ข Receive office phone calls.
โ€ข Delivery of official documents.

2. Finance and Accounting.
โ€ข Support Finance Officer on daily finance matters.
โ€ข Finance filing.
โ€ข Others.

3. Programme/Project.
โ€ข Support events, meetings, workshop, and training organized by progammes.
โ€ข Join field activities.
โ€ข Carry out any other duties as requested by the IUCN Country Office. REQUIREMENTS โ€ข Fresh graduated from University and College or professional with one year of working experience. The candidate shall have good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills in English and Lao, and able to work in multicultural environment.

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Forestry, Environmental Sciences, Hydrology, Community Development, Economics, Business Administration.

โ€ข Proficient in verbal and written English and Lao language.

โ€ข Goods in ICT, particularly MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlooks and Internet.
