The Partnership (and Communications) Senior Assistant will be part of the Partnership Unit in the Pakistan Country Office under the South Asia Multi-Country Office (SAMCO) and under the overall guidance of the Partnership Specialist will undertake the administrative support role for the unit.
The position strongly contributes to moving the Pakistan Office toward achieving its mission-focused goals and objectives. This position will report to the Partnerships Specialist under the overall guidance and support of the Country Manager for Pakistan.
Functional Responsibilities
- Support the Partnership Specialist in keeping records of minutes, updating the engagement tracker and maintaining the engagement overview dashboard
- Support the Partnership Specialist and Officer with administrative tasks, including but not limited to arranging meetings, travels, events etc.
- Support the visibility of UNOPS in Pakistan (e.g. through social networks, participation in events, visual branding etc.) in line with the communication strategy and SAMCO communication team
- Support ensuring that the achievements of the country officeโs outstanding projects are properly captured in the right communication formats for external outreach purpose
- Administrative support with Partner Surveys and resulting action plans.
- Provide Administrative and procedural support to the Partnership Specialist and Officer in representing the country office at the relevant communications forum internally and externally

Education:
Secondary School Education is required A first-level university (Bachelors') degree preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development, Political Science, Communications, International Relations, or any other relevant field is an added advantage and may substitute some years of relevant experience. Experience:
With secondary education, a minimum of 5 years of experience (or less depending on academic credentials) in Partnership development communications is required. Experience in Proposal Writing, M&E, and/or other related fields are highly desirable. With a Bachelorsโ degree, only 1 year of relevant experience is required. Basic knowledge of graphic design and photography is an asset
Language Requirements: Fluency in written and oral English is required. Fluency in the national language Urdu is preferred Contract type, level and duration
