Under the overall supervision of the Senior Operations Associate and direct supervision of the Senior Movement Operations Associate, the incumbent willย have the following duties and responsibilities:
Support daily monitoring of case referral and registration, migration health assessment activities including Global Mental Health Assessment Tool (GMHAT), activities in temporary accommodation sites and non-food item distribution as per the requirements of the UK resettlement programmes, in close coordination with IOM country offices to assist in effective pre-departure preparation of UK bound beneficiaries. Help maintain accurate information on cases referred to IOM for resettlement preparations particularly on migration health assessments and GMHAT, and perform appropriate case management actions when requested by the supervisor. Liaise with IOMย country offices to collect and share information to monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), related to temporary accommodation sites, distribution of non-food items; and duration of stay in third countries and MHPSS activities. Support tracking registration and transfer of data relating to migration health assessments as per UK Health Protocol, including medical referrals and identifying cases for re-medicals, pending TB investigations, serious medical conditions, and those requiring additional treatment and referral for complex medical conditions, under supervision.ย Work in close coordination with the Movement Management team and the Pre-departure Orientation teams to assist travel readiness of beneficiaries as per the UK Resettlement Schemes. Provide support for other pre-departure processes as required. Receive, and log incident reports to safeguard incidents, release of medical information, legal challenges, and enter them into the UK Operations Incident Report Database and other relevant databases, as appropriate. Maintain accurate records of operational files and related data on case registration, accommodation sites and NFI distribution and MHPSS activities, including compiling requested statistical information and ensuring that movement management and arrival databases are regularly updated. Perform data entry and verify data sent from IOMย country offices is completed and aligned with donor requirements.ย Assist the supervisor with providingย information and supportingย trainings activitiesย for IOM country officesย on UK resettlement programme SOPs relating to accommodation, migration health assessments,ย including helping with induction and onboarding as requested.ย When required, assist the team providing airport arrival and transit support, includingย meeting the beneficiaries at arrival gates and helping them with arrival procedures at the UKย airports. Support the preparation of briefing documents and reports on movement management, case registration, referrals, migration health assessments and contribute basic inputs for project monitoring and reporting, as requested.ย Demonstrate an understanding of applicable SOPs, related systems and databases, and IOM Standards of Conduct. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all relevant paperwork in line with SOPs, Standards of Conduct and relevant data protection rules.ย Apply RMM Protection Mainstreaming Minimum Standards in daily tasks and remain professional, impartial and unbiased during all interactions with migrants and colleagues per the IOM Standards of Conduct and instruction on the prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA).ย Alert the supervisor or management of any issues of non-compliance to SOPs, RMM Protection Mainstreaming Minimum Standards or IOM Standards of Conduct by IOM personnel or partners. Undertake duty travel as needed to provide logistical and operational support during meetings, trainings and other programme activities, as instructed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Computer/software literate with good knowledge in Microsoft Office. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to organize own work to meet deadlines. Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish) is an advantage.
