The purpose of the MEAL officer to support the Programs to implement the CC projects effectivelyย

Contribute to area level CC concept note development and provide input on needs.

Support and contribute to the development of a data management system through documentation, implementation and coordination of standardizes information flow of MEAL activities and reporting.
Support in developing data collection methodology and tools, and in actual data collection, as needed.
Capacity building and training of program staff on MEAL technical and conceptual areas, as needed
Support the integration and promotion of PSEA and Safeguarding practices across the country office
Support in standardizing MEAL across projects.

Ensure that monitoring data are reported on a timely manner to relevant program and managerial staff and entered on GORS monthly.Conduct regular field monitoring and spot checks, including site visits and verification of activities, to ensure implementation quality, compliance with project standards, and timely identification and follow-up of issues or complaints.Support the country office in promoting PSEA and Safeguarding practices, ensuring organizational staff, partners, vendors, and communities understand and adhere to safeguarding policies.Any other task relevant to the position as requested by line manager and MEAL Team Leader/Manager.ย
