Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage BMSF grants and ensure all items/milestones are being correctly implemented on time.
    • Keep a spreadsheet of milestones and agreed action items and disseminate all relevant staff.
    • Provide quarterly draft reports to IGCS leadership for submit to BMSF
    • Support all efforts (virtual and in-person) for Mentors visit, including coordination with blood bank, arrangement or coordination of equipment needed, etc .
    • Assist the Mentorship and Training Director with Lesotho-related progress reports in preparation for grant meetings.
    • Assist Lesotho surgeons and International Mentors with entering data into REDCap per guidelines of the BMSF Grant.
    • Assist with coordination of international mentor visits to Lesotho.
    • Perform all other job-related duties as required or assigned. Minimum Skills and Qualification:
      • Degree in Public Administration or related field. A diploma or post-graduate qualification in Project Management is preferred.
      • A master's degree in public health is an added advantage.
      • 3 years minimum work experience required.
      • Background in research coordination in an NGO setting is advantageous.
      • Proficient in speaking, reading and writing English
      • Proficient in excel and reporting writing skills
