Job Summary:
The Job Development Coordinator builds and maintains partnerships with employers to create sustainable employment opportunities for IRC clients. This role is employer-facing, focused on cultivating relationships across industries, identifying labor market trends, and expanding job pipelines. The Job Developer works closely with Employment Specialists and caseworkers to match clients with appropriate opportunities, troubleshoot barriers, and ensure long-term employment success.

Conduct outreach to local employers to develop sustainable, well-paying job opportunities for IRC clients. Research labor market and employment trends to expand opportunities across diverse industries and skill levels. Build and maintain partnerships with employers, industry groups, workforce boards, and community partners. Share employer opportunities with Employment Specialists and support them through application, interview, and placement processes. Act as liaison between employers, staff, and clients to resolve barriers and support retention. Participate in community employment councils, workforce development networks, and IRC network-wide collaboration. Conduct outreach to promote IRCโs employment programs and employer partnerships. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of employer relationships, job placements, and program deliverables. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities. Follow all IRC policies and protocols including safeguarding and confidentiality standards. Perform other related duties as assignedJob Requirements:
Education:
Bachelorโs degree in workforce development, social work, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.Work Experience:
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:
Strong networking and relationship-building skills with employers and community stakeholders. Knowledge of employment trends and workforce development practices. Excellent organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). Strong communication and public speaking skills; ability to represent IRC professionally in community forums. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.Language Skills:
Proficiency in English required; bilingual ability in Spanish, Dari, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Arabic, French, or other refugee/immigrant language preferred.Certificates or Licenses:
Valid driverโs license, active insurance policy, and access to reliable transportation. Must possess or be eligible for a fingerprint clearance card per Arizona state law.Working Environment***:***
A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and โfieldโ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. May require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Must be able to lift 35 to 50 pounds (furniture, household supplies, and food boxes).Compensation: (Pay Range: $24.00 - $25.74**)** Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget. Exact offers are calibrated by work location, individual candidate experience and skills relative to the defined job requirements.
