The Tropical Timber Trade Project (TTT), a project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft fĂźr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, works in supporting both governmental and private sector stakeholders to improve the sustainability, traceability and legality of timber trade in the Congo Basin.
Your tasks
As part of your internship, you will have the following tasks, among others:
Support to the TTT team with project operations, event preparation, and coordination between international partners Conducting research and preparing materials (e.g., reports, presentations) that will inform on project activities and decision Supporting internal communications and facilitating dialogue across different cultural and linguistic groups, fostering an understanding of cross-cultural management and international cooperation Providing technical support in preparing tenders and consultant service contracts, helping the project team ensure effective consultant engagement and project deliveryYour profile
Study from the fifth semester in Forestry, Resource Management, International Trade, Business Economics and related fields of specialization Good working knowledge of German, English and French Willingness to move temporarily to Eschborn and to travel to the countries of the Congo BasinNotes
