Expected duration6 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the overall direction and supervision of the Senior Inter-Agency Advisor on Human Resources Management and the relevant IT / Data experts in the CEB Secretariat, the Intern will support the work of the Human Resource Network and/or general data analytics-related work. The focus of this job is to support the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of data-driven products. In particular, the intern will be expected to: - Contribute to the development of a custom HR analytics framework; - Support efforts in enhancing existing Dashboards, analytical tools, and user interfaces developed by the CEB People Analytics & Insights function; - Develop reusable code and components that can be integrated into other projects; - Transform data sources for analysis and visualization purposes; develop analytic algorithms and visualization layouts (graphs, trees, maps, charts, etc.), and contribute to efforts to enhance data quality - Review, validate and compare historical data, including human resources and financial data, to ensure accuracy and consistency by identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective measures as needed. - Contribute to user experience (UX) design, interface optimization, and overall visual presentation of tools and dashboards, ensuring that solutions are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible; - Support in information collection and analysis, research and benchmarking of Human Resources and Compensation topics, as well as on Behavioral Science-related topics. - Coordinate and provide liaison with data-related counterparts in participating organizations in support of timely data provision and efforts to enhance data quality. - Participating in the preparation of relevant documentation including data models, standard operating procedures and progress reports for the HR Network. - Undertaking other duties as may be required. Qualifications/special skillsApplicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent). However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. For this position, Applicants from a wide range of academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply, particularly those with studies or demonstrated interest in areas such as: โข Data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related technical fields; with a focus on data โข UX/UI design, human-centered design, information design, web design, or digital media. Social and Behavioral sciences (e.g., psychology, economics, sociology) with a quantitative focus; Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Masterโs or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelorโs, Masterโs or PH.D.
