Candidates may be selected throughout the posting period, on an \"as-needed\" basis. Under the supervision or overall guidance of the Supervisor. Responsibilities: -The intern will be supporting substantive work in the field of circular economy applied to urban land use management in Latin America and the Caribbean. Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual's background and the internship period. -Collect and analyse census and household survey data across LAC, with a focus on urban contexts. Develop indicators to assess dwelling conditions. Support literature review efforts related to urban studies in LAC. Synthesize and summarize key findings Duties may include: - Researches, compiles, systematically organizes and analyses information and reference materials from various sources for reports, work plans, studies, briefings, meetings/conferences, etc. - Proofreads documents, translates (Spanish/English) - Edits texts for accuracy, grammar, punctuation and style, and for adherence to established standards for format. - Prepares a variety of inputs for reports, publications and presentations (this may include tables, lists, graphs, charts and/or diagrams. - Prepares, adapts and reviews web content - Format documents in line with organization standards - Compiles statistical data for reporting on sustainable urban development Collect and analyse census and household survey data across LAC, with a focus on urban contexts. Synthesize and summarize key findings Qualifications/special skills(a) HS diploma (required for this internship). (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (c) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent). However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master's or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor's, Master's or PH.D.
