Work LocationGeneva Expected duration3 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Organizational Development Intern will undertake a variety of tasks to support OHCHR Strategic Planning, Management, Evaluation and Change Service (SPECS) functions, in particular concerning organizational transformation. Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Programme Management Officer, the intern shall undertake the following tasks: - Conduct research to support OHCHR’s advocacy, communications and engagement around organizational development and transformation initiatives. - Supports implementation of Organizational Effectiveness Action Plans (OEAPs). - Assist in procuring, analysing and presenting data to support advocacy, communications, engagement and implementation - Support the development of communication materials, such as reports, presentations, and concept notes, infographics and videos concerning relevant initiatives. - Other tasks as directed by the Senior Programme Management Officer. Qualifications/special skillsApplicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a second university degree, equivalent, or higher; (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree (bachelor's degree or equivalent). Applicants are not required to have previous work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is an advantage. LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship.
