The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking a highly qualified, resilient and dynamic INGO Forum Coordinator.ย The INGO Forum Coordinator is a senior-level professional with solid experience in advocacy, communication, management, and coordination roles. The role requires interpersonal skills to build relationships with forum members and external actors, as well as capabilities in communication, facilitation, negotiation, and mediation. The coordinator will represent the forum in coordination spaces, in bilateral encounters and strategic events and other fora, ensuring cohesive verbal and visual representation of member organizations.
This position is hosted by the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), therefore the coordinator will operate withing NRC organizational framework, while reporting to the Steering Committee of the INGO Forum. The role is key for the INGO Forumโs efforts to address humanitarian issues in Venezuela with particular focus on access, advocacy and enhanced coordination. The coordinator will facilitate strategic planning, advocacy, and coordination among forum members, ensuring effective collaboration and representation of the forumโs interests nationally, at regional and international levels.What you will do
- Represent (as mandated by the Steering Committee) the Forum at key meetings with the Diplomatic community, Donors, UN, government, NGO and INGO coordination platforms in country, and globally with ICVA, InterAction and other external stakeholders. Ensure consultation ย with and feedback to Members.
- Ensure representation of INGOs in high-level multi-stakeholder bodies including HCT, donor meetings, government Sector Working Groups, and other leadership bodies. Ensure consultation with and feedback to members.
- Advise and provide recommendations on INGO Forum strategy and advocacy.ย
- Oversee implementation of the INGO Forum Strategy and lead on revision process. Engage on different key policy issues raised by the Government, donors, Civil Society and the UN.
- Organise and ensure the facilitation and documentation of regular INGO Forum meetings.ย
- Oversee the organization of ad-hoc INGO Forum meetings and thematic meetings, working groups, ad hoc meetings with NGOs, donors, UN, ensure their strategic value

What you will bring
- Minimum 4 years of experience in similar roles in Venezuela or within complex / volitive contextsย
- Required experience working in coordination, within other forums or consortia, partnerships or equivalent structures.ย
- Demonstrable specific expertise in monitoring and evaluation, ideally in third party monitoring.ย
- Experience in working with institutional donors.ย
- Experience in organizational representation at national or international levels.ย
- Proven expertise in advocacy.ย
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile.ย
- Excellent Spanish is requiredย
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal is required.ย
- Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint and OneDrive.ย
- Knowledge of the context in Venezuelaย
- Knowledge of donor landscape, priorities and conditions
- Experience in working in complex political environments
- Proven ability to analyze information and draft advocacy messages.ย
- Experience in design and implementation of communication strategies is an added value.ย
- Experience in developing and implementing coordination strategies and plans.ย
- Expertise in preparing budgets for humanitarian donor activities. ย What we offer

- Contract: international or national contract, 6 months probation contract (renewable)
- Travel: up to 20%ย
