Internal and external candidates will be considered for this vacancy. ย Context
In close collaboration with national and local authorities and experienced Partners, through the HELIOS+ project IOM aims at promoting the integration of beneficiaries of international protection and temporary protection into the Greek society through activities for employability support, the provision of Greek language courses and vocational training, the support for independent living, including rental subsidies, activities promoting social cohesion and inclusion.
Under the overall supervision of the Senior Project Coordinator and the direct supervision of the National Project Officer, the successful candidate will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Manage the assigned project team by ensuring smooth coordination and promoting positive dynamics between staff.
- Organize the workload and provide guidance and instructions to the respective team.
- Develop the methodology and create tools, materials and standard operating procedures and oversee their implementation to ensure the accuracy and quality of project data.
- Collaborate with other Project components, IOM departments, and other relevant actors, by setting common goals, to ensure timely, harmonized and efficient provision of project activities.
- In coordination with the relevant Mission Dpt., develop and/or maintain a database to support project activities, including beneficiariesโ data and other relevant information.
- Ensure compliance with the IOM Information Management Country Strategy, the relevant SOPs for Data Collection, Data Storage & Data Sharing โ compliance with IOM Data Protection Principles & GDPR.
- Supervise the data collection, data analysis; qualitative and quantitative analysis and compile reports for all analyzed data.
- Conduct data management trainings to field staff: IOM Data Protection Principles, Data Collection, Data Storage & Data Sharing, appropriate use of the population lists.
- Support donor reporting by providing accurate data.
- Overall supervision of the collected data from the field to the donor, Ministries and partners.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned. Education
- High School Diploma with minimum four years of relevant working experience, or;
- Bachelorโs degree/certificate in System Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer science or a related field from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant work experience.
- Masterโs degree in the above fields will be considered an advantage. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. ย Experience
- At least two years of previous work experience;

- Fluency in English and Greek (written and oral) is required. IOMโs official languages are English, French and Spanish.
