Under the general direction of the Corporate Services and Facilities (CSF) Department Director, the selected candidate will assist CSF Management in a broad range of tasks, providing support in the planning and execution of department-wide initiatives and projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with the Director, Deputy Director, Advisor, and Special Assistant to the Director to maximize productivity.
- Assist in data and information management needs and processes in support of the institution-wide management of the Hybrid work model.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of CSF Front Office-led projects by organizing and monitoring project tasks and schedule and ensuring effective execution.
- Assist in the efficient coordination of efforts within CSF and project teams and with outside clients, consultants and stakeholders.
- Conduct research, consolidate and prepare data for review and analysis to support Front Office decision-making, communications, presentations and updates to IMF Management and the Executive Board.
- Assist with the preparation and finalization of Front Office communications and presentations.
- Keep records of all information related to projects for documentation, clarification and presentation to management.
- Help discern requirements, assign tasks and follow up requirements to relevant CSF project teams.
- Arrange for project meetings and presentations and follow up on where and when they are needed.
- Complete any other necessary administrative tasks as needed, including consolidation, filing and sending out project files to the right personnel, workers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Educational development, typically acquired through the completion of a university degree in programming/systems, computer science, statistics, finance, mathematics, economics, or a related field of study, is required.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Excellent data management, data visualization and analysis skills.
- Hands-on experience with Power Bi, Tableau, or other data visualization tool is preferred.
- A track record of managing projects is a plus.
- The ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Other skills and experience include:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, along with strong facilitation and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast past environment, solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issues.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
This is a two-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability, and continuous business need.
