About the role
Overall purpose of the role:
Under the supervision of the Support Services Team Leader, the Human Resources and Administration will play a key role in the overall HR functions including staff recruitment, offers/contracts preparations, staff onboarding, performance management, staff attendance/leaves, staff extensions/separations process & the WC HR archive.
Additionally, will assist & support in the Admin activities.
This role ensures compliance to DRC procedures and guidelines within the base.
Main responsibilities:
Human Resources-General
Assist & coordinate with the Support Services Team Leader for HR functions related to Mocha and khokha office staff. Assist in ensuring staff compliance with human resources policies as per DRC's Operations Handbook and local HR Handbook. Assist managers and staff on administering the performance management & documentation. Ensure the West Coast personnel files completion with the mandatory documents.
Recruitment
Lead the recruitment & hiring process of the WC needed staff, casual workers & volunteers. Arrange & communicate with the candidates and schedule for tests and interviews. Participate in the staff & casual workers interviews. Prepare the new staff, casual workers & volunteers contracts. Ensure the recruitment tracks is updated on a weekly basis. Ensure new staff receive appropriate HR orientation and induction. Ensure clearance and debriefing is carried out for exiting staff.
Medical/Life & Injury insurance
Enroll the new staff in the life insurance scheme & the new casual workers in the injury insurance in coordination with the CO HR. Medical & life insurance cancellation for the staff leaving the organization in coordination with the CO HR. Helping in answering questions & resolving medical insurance related issues that may arise.
Attendance and leave management
Track the daily attendance of the WC staff in provided finger print & report the findings. Provide guidance and support to the staff on how to use the staff leave module in the Dynamics Sys. Provide monthly attendance report to the LMs.
Administration
Assist the Admin Officer for administrative management of the WC premises. Assist in providing office supplies & procure stock through supply chain team. Assist in ensuring that the premises systems and equipment (power, water, telephoneโฆetc.) are in good working order. Assist in ensuring that payment of the WC premises utilities bills are done on time. Assist in the premises repairs & maintenance in coordination with the Admin Officer and SSTL. Assist in the Admin filing archive.
Experience and technical competencies: : (include years of experience)
Minimum of two year's relevant work experience in HR & Admin. (preferable at INGO) Computer skills- intermediate level Attention to details.
Education: (include certificates, licenses etc.)
Bachelor's degree in HR management, Business Administration, Law or related field.
Languages: (indicate fluency level)
English: Intermediate level Arabic: Fluent

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with Danish Refugee Councilโs National Terms of Employment.
