Mission and objectivesThe UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) makes public and private finance work for the poor in the worldโs 47 least developed countries (LDCs). With its capital mandate and instruments, UNCDF offers โlast mileโ finance models that unlock public and private resources, especially at the domestic level, to reduce poverty and support local economic development. UNCDFโs financing models work through two channels: financial inclusion that expands the opportunities for individuals, households, and small businesses to participate in the local economy, providing them with the tools they need to climb out of poverty and manage their financial lives; and localized investments that show how fiscal decentralization, innovative municipal finance, and structured project finance can drive public and private funding that underpins local economic expansion and sustainable development.
ContextThe primary objective of this task is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of UNCDF's project management by utilizing the Salesforce results framework tool. By setting up log frameworks for all projects, UNCDF aims to improve the tracking of project progress, manage resources more effectively, and achieve project goals. This initiative is part of UNCDF's broader efforts to leverage technology for better project management and outcomes. UNCDF is looking for 2 volunteers to assist with this assignment. The collaboration between the volunteers and the UNCDF team will be essential in achieving the desired outcomes and ensuring the success of the project. Under the guidance of the RBM Specialist they will support her work.
Task DescriptionUNCDF is seeking dedicated and experienced online volunteers to assist in uploading and creating log frameworks for all UNCDF projects in the Salesforce results framework tool. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of UNCDF's project management processes, ensuring that all projects are accurately tracked and managed. Volunteers will be responsible for setting up the log frameworks for 70 projects within the Salesforce results framework tool. This involves ensuring data accuracy, collaborating with the UNCDF team to optimize the use of the Salesforce tool, and providing support in the development and management of the log frameworks. Volunteers will play a crucial role in enhancing the overall project management capabilities of UNCDF.
