The role of the HSS Technicalย Assistant (HSS TA) is to assist the HSS Coordinator (HSSC) in conducting all Health Safety and Security (HSS) related tasks at Area Office (AO) level, inclusive Field Offices (FO).ย

Participate and assist in the production of all HSS related documents for AO and FOย Assist in the management and development of security staff in countryย ย Assist in the production of Security Risk Assessments at AO and FO levelsย Assist in the production of Area Security Reportsย ย Assist in the control of area security packsย ย Assist in the updating of all relevant HSS documents at AO and FO levelย Prepare reports as requiredย ย Conduct physical verifications or all HSS related equipmentย ย Support AO and FO as required during leave and high intensity operationsย Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, guidance and proceduresยSpecific responsibilitiesย ย ย
Assist in the production of the area weekly/daily security reportย ย Control and inspect all HSS equipment that has been procured/distributed at Area levelย Participate in the production of Rapid Security Risk Assessmentsย ย Participate in the production of full Security Risk Assessments inclusive workshopsย Control and inspect all medical equipment issued at area levelย ย Participate in the training of staff on HSS topicsย Update and control the online security package for AO and FO staffย ย Update and control the content of the AO and FO online filesย Participate in capacity building as directed by the Field Office Coordinator and the HSS Coordinator to maintain an in-house capacity on HSS related trainingsย Produce timely and accurate training reports based on HSS training conducted in countryย Participate in internal security audits as instructed by HSS Coordinator and HSS Managerย Regularly oversee and control the security briefing protocols for AO and FOย Manage and monitor movementsย ย Conduct any other tasks as directed by the Field Office Coordinator or by the HSS Coordinator Competenciesย ยย 1. Minimum 2 years of work experience in a HSS related positionย ย Desirable experience in law enforcement or militaryย Ability to liaise with law enforcement agencies, military organizations and local administrationsย ย Ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload in a rapidly changing work environmentย Previous experience from working with documents that require verification and controlย Good coordination and control skillsย Background in implementation and training for HSS related workย Fluency in English, Ukrainian and Russian, both written and verbal is essentialยย Context related skills, knowledge and experience:ย ย
