Job Summary:

The Health Emergency Management Specialist (Field Staff) serves as an advanced subject matter expert for emergency response within a large USG-funded Global Health Security (GHS) project. The role focuses on developing and implementing policies and procedures, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality delivery of emergency response activities in field settings. This individual provides technical leadership for field-level emergency preparedness and response initiatives, supervises field staff, and ensures that project activities align with work plans and best international practices. Key partnerships include ministries of health, regional and district health offices, local organizations, and USG missions.

This position involves frequent travel to field locations and requires the ability to work in challenging environments.
