Context Brief Project Description: The Salone Access to Finance (SATF) project is a five-year project funded by the European Union as part of its Jobs and Growth initiative for Sierra Leone. The project is implemented by the United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNCDF). The initiative is consistent with UNCDFโs mission is to deploy innovative blended financing solutions for the development of frontier markets to meet the SDGs. Salone Access to Financeโs main objective is to contribute to sustainable and inclusive economic development and job creation in the agricultural sector. Through four pillarsโInvestment, Insurance, Digitalization, and Business Environmentโthe SATF project seeks to enhance the performance of Agric-MSMEs, improve access to financial services, and empower women and youth, in line with the strategic objective of the Government of Sierra Leone's Medium-term National Development Plan, BIG 5 GAME CHANGERS, and Pillar 4 of the Feed Salone Strategy: Organizational Context The 'Salone Access To Finance Project' has produced four (4) reports and or knowledge products that must undergo quality assurance process that include designing before dissemination. The Communication and Knowledge Management Unit is soliciting for interested and qualified UNV candidates to be considered for the design and layout of these knowledge products. In this regard, UNCDF is seeking a qualified individual that will provide graphic design and layout services for the 4 knowledge products/reports.
Task Description- Collect information on the knowledge products background such as target audience, design style, branding guidelines etc.; - Generate graphics designs for these reports including infographic, and improving their overall design and visual appeal such as colour schemes, typography, layout, imagery, and overall aesthetics consistent with UNCDF branding guidelines/template; - To ensure seamless accessibility in all UNCDF regions, the package must be compatible with Adobe CC (Illustrator or similar); - Create draft design based on requirements and discuss with focal point/ communications team; - Develop the design according to agreed requirements.
